The Patient Dashboard provides current enrollment totals, as well as the enrollment targets for the site.
The Enrollment Summary displayed at the top of the page allows you to quickly understand if further enrollment is required and, in the case of comparative trials, to determine which type of enrollment dosing strategy is appropriate. The Enrollment Summary display indicates the maximum number of subjects allowed to enroll at the site, as well as target enrollment numbers and the total enrolled by Study arm. For example:
The Enrollment Summary display shows the following columns:
Treatment - Treatment is either the name of the treatment arm - for trials with multiple arms (one arm name per row), or the name of the drug or compound or treatment, for trials with a single arm (one compound per row).
Target - The enrollment target for the study site by drug group. In the sample shown in the grid, the study site total enrollment target is 14. Of these 14, 12 are prescribed the primary drug, 1 prescribed comparative drug A, and 1 prescribed comparative drug B.
Enrolled - The total of currently enrolled patients per treatment group.
For a non-comparative trial, only one Target and one Enrolled total are visible. For a comparative trial, both the primary drug (arm1) and the compared drugs (arm2) have separate row values. In all cases the sum of Target values is the total target for the site, defined by the Site Administrator as the Study Site Target, and the sum of enrolled values will show the total enrollment for the site.
Note: The enrolled value takes into consideration only subjects which have already been marked as enrolled, and therefore may be different than the total count of subjects in Rave. New subjects may be created in Rave but they are not included in the enrolled total until they are marked as enrolled.
