Propose Global Library Volume
[Rate this topic]

A user with Create Proposal Role Action for an Architect Project can use the Copy Wizard to copy objects to a proposed global library volume. A proposed Global Library Volume enables a user to suggest objects for inclusion in the global library without requiring update access to any global library volumes. A Global Librarian can then view the proposed objects and if found appropriate, copy them into the desired Global Library volume.

A proposed Global Library Volume draft is a Read only draft that includes all variables, fields, forms, folders, data dictionaries, matrices, edit checks, custom functions, derivations, and restrictions. Once created, the draft cannot be edited.  It can be deleted from the Architect main page when not required by selecting the X next to the proposed Draft name.

To view a proposed Global Library Volume draft

  1. Select and navigate to the proposed Global Library Volume Draft from the Architect main page.

A Read Only version of the proposed Global Library Volume Draft will appear and show.

You can do any of the following on the proposed Global Library Draft page
