Subject Task Summary

The Task Summary at the Subject level in EDC displays a high level summary of tasks for the user within the selected subject based on navigation level, role, and user privileges. For example, the Task Summary may show 3 forms within the subject that have data points that require review.

 

The following tasks may appear in the Task summary based on the user's role permissions:

DESCRIPTION

Requiring Signature

Includes a count of forms for the subject that has data which has been entered and requires signature.

Non Conformant Data

Includes a count of forms for the subject that has non-conformant data.

Requiring Coding

Includes a count of forms for the subject where at least one field on the form requires coding.

Requiring Translation

Includes a count of forms for the subject where at least one field on the form requires translation.

Open Queries

Includes a count of forms for the subject where at least one field on the form has an open query that has not been answered..

Answered Queries

Includes a count of forms for the subject where at least one field on the form has an open query that has been answered but has not been closed.

Sticky Notes

Includes a count of forms for the subject where at least one field on the form has a sticky note that is pending acknowledgement.

Requiring Review

Includes a count of forms for the subject where at least one field on the form requires review.

Requiring Verification

Includes a count of forms for the subject where at least one field on the form requires verification.

Overdue Data

Includes a count of forms for the subject that has data with an overdue status. In other words, the date is in the past.

Ready for Entry Lock

Includes a count of forms for the subject where any field on the form that can be locked is ready to be entry locked.

Ready for Data Lock

Includes a count of forms for the subject where any field on the form that can be locked is ready to be data locked.

Cancel Queries

Includes a count of forms for the subject where at least one field on the form has an open query that can be cancelled.

 

For each applicable task entry mentioned above, the system displays

 

 

 

 

Note: The collapse  or expand  next to the Task Summary label gives the user the option to collapse or expand the summary list. Collapsing the list during routine use of EDC will significantly improve page response time. The option to display the Task Summary on the Subject, Site, and Study page can be set in Configuration module> Other Settings. Default setting is to display the Collapse icon and the task summary list.
