Default Values for Log Lines
[Rate this topic]

When you create a new, empty log form as part of adding or merging a matrix, the system automatically generate multiple records in a log form, with each record showing a different default value. Multiple defaults for a log field can be specified by referencing a data dictionary and using a configurable delimiter, such as, the pipe character | within the default value for a field in Rave Architect. The delimited list of values causes the log form to generate multiple occurrences of that log field, each with one of the specified defaults. Multiple log lines are generated for log fields with delimited default values only for new log forms.

In the example shown below, the log field Enter proper body system data references data dictionary Body System and shows multiple records in the log form, with each record showing a different default value.
