Limit on Maximum Number of Log Lines
[Rate this topic]

You cannot add additional log lines or re-activate an inactive log line on log forms with pre-existing pre-populated log lines.

A limit is set on the maximum number of log lines that can display on a log form. You can set the limit of log lines by specifying the last delimiter on the default repeat values of a log field in Rave Architect. If the last character in the default value list of any field on a log line is the default separator % or pipe delimiter |, then for the form that contains that log line, the total number of log lines will equal the number of default values given. For example, if a log field is defined with 3 defaults, and a delimiter exists, then only 3 log lines, one for each default value, will display for the log form in EDC. You cannot create additional log lines.

If there are multiple fields on a log line with a default value list ending with a default separator, the field with the greatest number of default values are used to determine the total number of log lines.
