To build the Patient Dashboard you must set the display properties for the Patient Dashboard display.
The following table describes the Patient Data display properties:
Property |
description |
Active Configuration |
When selected, all qualified users of the project can see the Patient Dashboard.
When Active Configuration is not selected, users see the standard Rave interface. Default is unchecked. |
Show Enrollment Grid |
When selected the Enrollment Grid is visible. |
Comparative/Non-comparative? |
Select either 'Non-comparative' or 'Comparative' to determine the trial mode. Default is Non-Comparative. |
Drug Code OID |
Defines the Coding Dictionary entry for the primary drug or other drug. Indicates the proportion of subjects for each drug in percentage, which must total 100%. |
Primary Drug Name |
Defines the Primary Drug Name for non-comparative studies. This property does not show in the Grid if the trial mode is Comparative.
Note: The Primary Drug Name can be localized from within the Rave Translation Workbench. |
Use Rave Subject Status |
When selected, Patient Dashboard uses the standard Rave subject status with categories for patients in the study. Available subject status categories are: Screening, Screen Failed, Enrolled, Early Terminated, and Completed.
Enrollment counts on enrollment grid view are: Enrolled, Early Terminated, and Completed.
If this option is not selected, the Patient Dashboard uses the following three fields to define enrollment status:
|
Enrollment Folder OID |
Defines the Folder where enrollment data is located.
Note: This property is not shown if Use Rave Subject Status is selected. |
Enrollment Form OID |
Defines the Form where enrollment data is located.
Note: This property is not shown if Use Rave Subject Status is selected. |
Enrollment Result Field OID |
Defines the Field where enrollment result is located.
Note: This property is not shown if Use Rave Subject Status is selected. |
Enrollment Indicator |
Defines the dictionary code or data for customer definition of enrollment status.
Note: This property is not shown if Use Rave Subject Status is selected. |
Sort by Enrollment Visit |
When selected, data in the Patient Data display is sorted by enrollment status. See Using Enrollment Sorting.
When not selected data in the Patient Data display is sorted by Subject ID. |
Lines per page |
Sets the number of lines per page. The default value is 10 lines. |
Use Rave Overdue Status |
When selected, an event is marked as overdue according to its status in Rave.
When not selected, an event is marked as overdue only if the current local date is after the event target date. |
Enrollment status can be set in several different ways in the study design. In some study designs there are specific enrollment completion steps. For example, a step can be an additional form that must be completed to validate enrollment after the enrollment form itself is completed. In this case, the enrollment status shown on the Patient Data display reflects the status of that confirmation step.
The settings you select for the Patient Data display properties must reflect the study design:
Select the Use Rave Subject Status property if the study design uses the standard Rave enrollment form with no additional confirmation form, and there is no verification by a second user. In this case, the Patient Data display shows enrollment status based on the status of the standard Rave enrollment form.
Select the Enrollment Folder OID, Enrollment Form OID, and the Enrollment Result Field OID properties if the study design uses an additional form to confirm enrollment, and also uses verification by a second user. In this case, the Patient Data display shows enrollment status based on the status of the enrollment Field from the Form and Folder you have specified.
If the Use Rave Subject Status property is not selected in the study design, you must define the value of Enrollment Folder OID, Enrollment Form OID, and the Enrollment Result Field OID properties in order to show the enrollment status and enrollment count.
Select the Sort by Enrollment Visit property to sort the data in the Patient Data display in the following order:
Note: The code list that is attached to the field that is used to determine enrollment status must have the exact code values shown in the list below.
Entering (sort value 0) (default)
Enrolled (sort value 1)
Pending (sort value 2)
Not Enrolled (sort value 3)
