Edit Global Library Volume Settings

The default global library volume settings are displayed in the Global Library Volume Settings section of the Global Library main page. The Global Library Volume Settings include:

 

 

To edit global library volume settings

  1. Select and navigate to the Global Library main page from the Architect main page.

 

 

  1. In the Global Library Volume Settings section of the page, click the Edit icon .

 

 

  1. Make changes as required to the Name, Active Status, or Description.

 

Note: If a Global Library is inactivated (the Active checkbox is unchecked), the Global Library is moved from the Active Global Library Volumes list on the Architect main page to the Inactive Global Library Volume list.

 

  1. Select an icon to represent the Global Library Volume from the Library Icon drop down list.  Default icon that is shipped for a Global Library Volume is . The drop down list has icons uploaded from the desktop and defined in the Configuration module.  Icons are used to distinguish objects that are developed in a draft and the objects that are copied in from another source.  They are overlaid on the object icons to provide a visual cue to users when objects in the source or target draft change.

  2. Click Update to save your changes or click Cancel to discard your changes and begin again.
