[Rate this topic]

A Target subject enrollment numeric value can be assigned to a Site for each assigned Study and/or Environment. The Target value indicates the intended number of subjects that can be enrolled for the Site.

Note: Individual targets for set time periods can also be set on a per study site basis.  See Related Topics for more information.

A Cap subject enrollment numeric value can be assigned to a Site for each assigned Study and/or Environment. This value indicates the maximum number of subjects that can be enrolled for the Site.

To edit or add Target and Cap Numbers

  1. Click the Edit icon for the Site in the Study Sites section on the Site Details page.

The Study Sites section displays in edit mode.

  1. Enter a Target and Cap number in the open fields.

Note: The Target field in the Study Sites section will sum up all the planned enrollment targets and display it in the field.  Thus if the target is 50 in the Planned Enrollment panel, the top level Target will display 50.  It is still possible to enter a numeric value in the top level Target but this number will be overwritten by the maximum of either the sub Target fields or the user entered value.

  1. Click Update to save the target and cap allowances.

  2. Or click Cancel to exit without saving.
