Copy Report Permissions

A user with User Group permissions Report Assignment, Report Matrix, or Report Admin Manager can copy user assignments, matrices, or study filters from the Source report to the Target report in Report Packager.

To Copy Report Permissions

Log in to Rave and select Report Administration from the list of installed modules on the Rave home page.
Click Copy Permissions link in the left navigation bar on the Report Administration home page.

The Copy Permissions page displays a Source Report drop down list with options to copy User Assignments, Reports Matrix, or Study Filters as per the user's User Group permissions. For example, the Study Filters check box will not display if the user does not have the Report Admin Manager User Group permission. A Target Reports table displays available Custom and Standard reports. The Copy Permissions button is disabled by default. A Warning message alerts users that the copy process will overwrite any permissions already present in the Target report.

Note: The Target Reports table excludes all User Saved Reports.

Select a source report from the Source Report drop down list.

The selected report is removed from the Target Reports table.

Select one or more items to copy from the Copy check boxes. Options are: User Assignments, Reports Matrix, or Study Filters as per your User Group permission.
Select and check box one or more reports in the Target Reports table to copy the permissions over from the Source Report.

The Copy Permissions button is enabled.

Click Copy Permissions.
Click OK to confirm copy permissions for the selected reports in the confirmation popup window.

The system confirms whether the selected Source Report has the appropriate permissions to copy. If the permissions are available, it copies the selected permissions from the Source Report to the specified Target Report. A success message confirms the Report Permissions were copied over successfully.

If you attempt to copy permissions from a Source Report that has no permissions to copy, an error message will convey that the Source Report does not have the specified permissions. The copy process is aborted.
