In order for a study to make use of the lab range subsystem developed in the Lab Administration module, Lab setup information must be specified in the Architect module for each project or Global Library. This setup enables the system to look for the correct lab range for a given subject, lab, and analyte in the EDC module.
The following lab information can be specified for each Project or Global Library Volume draft:
The name of the group specifying standard units
The reference ranges and alert ranges for the project
The range type (s) used for labs in the project
The mapping of fields in the project to variables in the chosen range type (s)
Location methods for a field being mapped to a Range Type - specify where a specific form field is to be found, if it occurs more then once.
Select and navigate to the Project or Global Library Volume main page from the Architect main page.
Select a draft and navigate to the draft main page.
Select Lab Settings from the list of Draft Items on the left navigational bar.
The Lab Settings main page displays.
