Effect of CRF Version Overwrite on CRF Migration Plan

During an overwrite of a CRF version, if the CRF version is included in a CRF Migration Plan, the plan will be automatically regenerated by the system. During the process, all Object mappings, local Configuration settings, and saved Edit Checks and Matrices will be removed.

 

The following table describes the changes that will be applied to the Subject data during the Migration process:

Matrix is moved to a deleted CRF version.  Existing subject matrix entries are untouched. There is no overwriting.

All corresponding instances are marked as deleted.

All corresponding data pages are deleted.

Log structure appears changed for one or more fields in the form

All corresponding data pages are deleted. New empty data pages are created in their place.

Field

One or more of the following is changed:

 

  • Variable

  • Variable data type

  • Data or unit dictionary assigned to the variable

  • Analyte

  • Required flag

  • Visible flag

  • Range or non-conformant range

 

Contents in any existing data points are cleared and revert to " Not submitted" status.

 

Any markings, review information, untranslated data, coding results, and clinical significance are removed.

New added

Un-submitted data points are created for any records for the form that contain at least one submitted data point.

Field

Removed

Any corresponding data points are marked as deleted.

Edit Check

Removed

Any corresponding queries are closed.

Field Review

Field Review Group added

The corresponding data point review status records are created with a status of "Not reviewed".

Field Review

Field Review Group deleted

The corresponding data point review status records are deleted.
